In four days they have produced 4 bars of honeycomb.

Looking at the weekend in the other hives to see if I need to add bars as they will have been running two weeks by then.

I've found a good indication is the amount of wash debris under the hive.

DaveLord Tedrichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16020578982687050201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5778387348899013256.post-82546937623862141792012-05-31T14:20:05.860+01:002012-05-31T14:20:05.860+01:00I've promised myself I won't look in the h...I've promised myself I won't look in the hive for at least a week - the temptation to look may be too great though!
The bees seem to be settling in - they're in and out of the hive even though it's raining, a good sign I think. Time will tell if it's been a successful transplant or not - here's hoping.PeterThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10315652891813168203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5778387348899013256.post-90478917004344000332012-05-31T12:35:30.746+01:002012-05-31T12:35:30.746+01:00Nice transfer, its a doddle when you lift all the ...Nice transfer, its a doddle when you lift all the bars together. Just wait and see how quickly they build comb it's incredible.Lord Tedrichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16020578982687050201noreply@blogger.com
